Context:  In the frame of a rail services RFP issued by a regional public transport authority, a national rail operator must build its response strategy for the IT part and, concretely, design and write the answer to be integrated in the global proposition. 

Activities and deliverables done by our Consultant: 

1. Formalization of the business processes and information systems in place within the operator 
2. Qualification of the requirements expressed in the RFPs and translation in terms of needed information systems 
3. Consultation and qualification of internal and external business solutions providers 
4. Creation and implementation of tools to build and qualify response scenarios 
5. Creation and production of different possible response scenarios, taking into account sourcing, functional and financial criteria 
6. Assistance to choose the scenario to be applied and production of the deliverables integrated in the operator’s response 
7. Delivery of a “tool box” to be used for all upcoming RFPs
