Context: For its rail operations production and maintenance of rolling stock, an operator is looking for an optimized information system with a better balance between required functionalities and targeted budget. 

Activities and deliverables done by our Consultant:

1. Formalization of the existing information system architecture 
2. Functional aspects: lead workshops with business and IT experts in order to qualify processes to be automated 
3. Technical aspects: lead workshops with IT experts to identify and qualify options for hosting, interfacing and support of the future information system 
4. Feedback about the assessed options, with a recommended target and an action plan
