Response to a regional rail RFP: organization and HR domains  

Context: A rail company is responding an RFP for regional passenger rail transport. 

Activities and deliverables done by our Consultant:  

  1. Co-building approach with the “RFP responseproject team, with the objective to reach the performance and quality of service as per the future contract: 
    – Set up of the enterprise project 
    – Co-building of the targeted new company’s organization, definition of the job descriptions, organization of the on-call shifts 
    – Design of the HR road map to plan the transition from the concession kick-off organization to its steady state 
    – Design of scenarios to plan potential changes in the organization during the contract life 
  2. Building of staff transfer scenarios and the associated training plans 
  3. Assistance to design the new social framework (work organization, social package) proposed to transferred staff and the associated social strategy 
  4. Appliance of these elements to the financial model to be submitted within the global response 
  5. Assistance in the different offer submission phases, assistance in writing and reading the HR parts of the offer
